Privacy Policy

This is an English translation provided for convenience. D4 Builds is operated in the Republic of Korea under the Personal Information Protection Act, and the Korean text is the legally binding version; if the two differ, the Korean text prevails.

D4 Builds (the "Service", https://d4builds.kr) complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and related law, and handles personal data as follows.

1. What we collect, and how

• At registration (required): email address, password (stored one-way hashed), display name
• Collected automatically during use: access logs, IP address and similar, processed transiently by our hosting provider Cloudflare for security and traffic handling
• We do not collect marketing profiles, location data or anything else.

2. Why we process it

• Identifying members and managing accounts, including sign-in
• Providing the Service, such as build submission and review
• Responding to enquiries and sending notices

3. Retention

Data is destroyed without delay when you close your account, except where law requires it to be retained, in which case it is kept for that period.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We do not provide personal data to third parties, except in response to a lawful request grounded in statute.

5. Processors and overseas transfer

The Service entrusts processing to the following provider for hosting and database operation, and data may be stored on servers outside Korea.

• Processor: Cloudflare, Inc. (United States)
• Entrusted work: web hosting, database storage of account information, security and traffic handling
• Data transferred: everything listed in section 1
• Retention: until the processing agreement ends or you close your account

6. Cookies

We use only the essential session cookie that keeps you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies are used. You can block cookies in your browser, but you will not stay signed in if you do.

7. Your rights

You may at any time request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal data. Write to contact@d4builds.kr and we will act without delay. Account closure requests go to the same address.

8. Security measures

• Passwords are stored with one-way hashing (PBKDF2) and cannot be decrypted.
• All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS.
• Access to account data is restricted to the operator.

10. Changes to this policy

Any change to this policy will be announced within the Service at least 7 days before it takes effect.
